NIELSEN-MASSEY DEBUTS ITS NEW COOKBOOK:
A Century of Flavor

This tantalizing collection of recipes is now available
from the makers of the world’s finest vanilla and flavorings.

(January 10, 2008) - Nielsen-Massey Vanillas is proud to announce the availability of its much anticipated cookbook entitled, “A Century of Flavor.” This labor of love (and great flavor) is hot off the press and ready to take to kitchens worldwide and start cooking!

A Century of Flavor was written in honor of the company’s Centennial Anniversary for anyone who appreciates the art of fine cooking (and eating)! This cookbook is filled with 50 of the most tantalizing recipes from Crème Brûlée French Toast and Caramelized Pineapple Sauce to Crab Cakes with Vanilla Remoulade and Spicy Tequila Shrimp. Each recipe incorporates one or more of Nielsen-Massey’s quality pure vanillas and/or fine flavorings. The novice cook or the seasoned chef will be simply delighted with this fine collection of timeless and flavorful recipes.

The cookbook’s foreword was written by Gale Gand, Executive Pastry Chef/Partner for Tru and Cenitare Restaurants, Host of “Sweet Dreams” on the Food Network, and cookbook author. A Century of Flavor features five chapters: On the Side, Now This is Dinner!, Fresh Baked, It’s Always Better with Vanilla, and (Chef) Hats Off to Vanillas, containing recipes contributed from world renowned chefs including: Rick Bayless, Ina Pinkney, Marcy Goldman, J. Warren, Biagio Settepani, and The French Pastry School. Exquisite photography and helpful cooking tips accompany each easy-to-follow recipe.

Descriptions of each Nielsen-Massey product are included to assist you in choosing the perfect flavoring partner for your recipes, as well as a quick reference equivalency section for learning when and how to use the various vanilla products interchangeably. The cookbook is peppered with over 30 interesting and useful fun facts as well as snapshots of vintage photography from the company’s 100 year history.

NIELSEN-MASSEY LAUNCHES NEW PRODUCT
Bring a Taste of Spring into Your
Kitchen with Rose Water

WAUKEGAN, ILLINOIS - (March 13, 2008) - Just in time for spring, Nielsen-Massey Vanillas is proud to announce the availability of Rose Water to their line of premium flavors.

Just in time for spring, Nielsen-Massey Vanillas is proud to announce the addition of Rose Water to their line of premium flavors.

Rose Water captures the essence of fresh rose blossoms through steam distillation. Using only the purest of rose petals, the delicate essential oils are extracted from the petals. Use this delicate floral flavor in Middle Eastern, Indian and Greek dishes such as baklava and rice pudding, and to infuse spring into French pastry glazes and creams. Rose Water pairs wonderfully with vanilla, cream, chocolate, rice and mild cheeses, enhancing many recipes.

In addition to adding a new dimension to favorite recipes, Rose Water is known for its therapeutic qualities, and is used in many cleansers, skin care lines and aromatherapy products. Rose Water has also been found to soothe and relax babies.

Available in two and four ounce bottles for retail sale and eighteen ounce and gallon sizes for foodservice and industrial use, Nielsen-Massey Rose Water brings a taste of spring into your kitchen.
