Smoked Salmon Cucumber Slices

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons dry white wine
  • 2 teaspoons finely minced shallot
  • 8 oz. cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped dill
  • 1/2 teaspoon Nielsen-Massey Pure Lemon Extract

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground white pepper
  • 4 oz. smoked salmon, finely chopped
  • 2 English cucumbers, sliced
  • Fresh dill (garnish)

Directions

In a small bowl, combine wine and shallot. Let stand while preparing other ingredients.

In a medium bowl, use an electric mixer on medium speed to beat cream cheese, wine, shallot, dill, Lemon Extract, garlic powder, salt, pepper and salmon until well combined.

Place in a bowl; cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.

Top cucumber slices with about 1 1/2 teaspoons salmon spread and garnish with a fresh dill sprig.
