INTRODUCES NEW VANILLA FOR TODAY'S MARKET WAUKEGAN, ILLINOIS - (January 20, 2002) - Nielsen-Massey Vanillas introduces a new vanilla specifically formulated to reduce cost-in-use. Matt Nielsen, vice president, retail division, announced the roll-out at the NASFT Winter Fancy Food Show in San Francisco, California. "Due to increasing costs in the vanilla market and its effect we all share on the retail sector, Nielsen-Massey is pleased to offer a pure vanilla that meets our unwavering quality standards and allows a lower price point to both our customers and consumers." Utilizing the companies' exclusive cold process method Nielsen-Massey has developed a pure vanilla extracted from a blend of selected vanilla beans. This new product, labeled specifically as Pure Vanilla Extract, will be available in 4 ounce, 8 ounce, quarts and gallon bottles for both the retail and foodservice markets. Nielsen-Massey has been providing pure vanilla extracts to discriminating chefs and home cooks since 1907.
