NIELSEN-MASSEY WINS BLUE CHIP AWARD

WAUKEGAN, ILLINOIS - (January 16, 2001) - Nielsen-Massey Vanillas, Inc. was honored with the Illinois State Blue Chip Enterprise Award in a November ceremony. President Camilla Nielsen was cited for "taking the reigns of the company following her husband's death and keeping alive the business commitment to producing high quality vanilla products," stated Alisa Gaudiosi, Director of the Blue Chip Enterprise Award.

Additionally, Nielsen-Massey Vanillas was credited with expanding into the European market and developing a waste disposal system that was both cost effective and environmentally safe.
